Fountain City Coffee has been roasting beans and serving the community of Columbus (also known as The Fountain City) since its inception in 2003. Fountain City strives to create not only a premium product, but a welcoming environment for all in the community. Since Head Roaster, Jud Richardson, purchased “the shop” in 2013, it has become a literal family affair. Jud and his wife, Edy, are now part owners with his sister and brother-in-law, Libba and Will Dillon.
Fountain City is proud to locally roast their beans in small batches which allows them to offer coffee at its peak to ensure excellence and freshness. Their commitment to using high quality beans from around the world create the basis for the enveloping, cozy flavors their coffee exudes. Coffee has the power to bring all types of people together, and it is Fountain City’s hope that the vibrancy and approachable complexities of their coffee will do just that.
